With over 30 years working with some of the most inspiring strategists in the world, we have picked up a trick or two about strategy.

Bringing our practical lens to the theory of strategy we are often asked to run Strategy Workshops. We aim to leave you with a working strategy at the end of a one-day workshop. Ideas and innovations which can quickly move to action.

Our strategy workshops have generated impressive results; doubling membership, increasing engagement and improving volunteer, partner and sponsor relationships.

In addition to our deep experience with consumer goods companies, we have a unique insight into non-profit, clubs and membership organisations, especially those with volunteers.

We have two parts to our strategy offering; A one-day workshop that quickly gets to actionable insights and a ‘know your customer’ data exercise.

One-day workshop:

An interactive working session with a small (less than 10) group of people knowledgeable about the organisation.

  1. We start by creating a vision of the future.

  2. We look at the impact of your external environment and how it is changing.

  3. We assess what is competing with you and the impact.

  4. We deep dive into what your customers, members or volunteers value.

  5. Finally, we help you prioritise so that you know where to focus your efforts.

Know your customer:

We collect the data you need and give you the insights to make effective choices of where to invest your resources.

  1. We start with a data exercise to collect information about your members, volunteers, or others who are important to you.

  2. We design, operate, and interpret the results for you.

  3. We provide you with insights that give you confidence to make the choices, and take the risks that you need to take.
